Lindberg Book
Anne Lindberg
“Hovering within the fluid space between drawing and textile, I attempt to generate experiences that transcend language, slow time, and tap into something at the core of us, with the belief that a kind of alchemy can exist in everyday life.” – Anne Lindberg (Anne Lindberg, 2023)
Dürer Editions has released a new publication titled Anne Lindberg, a collection of the artist’s immersive, site-specific work spanning the last ten years. That work includes Lindberg’s projects from her residence at Manitoga in 2020, cycles of seeing 01 and cycles of seeing 02. During her time at Manitoga, Lindberg observed the seasonal cycle and rhythms of nature throughout the landscape to create these large-scale drawings, now exhibited within the publication. Contributors to the publication include Theresa Bembnister (Arkansas Museum of Art) and Caroline Kipp (The Textile Museum).
The release of Lindberg’s book is connected to the current exhibition BTWXT II: Anne Lindberg + Olivia Schreiner at Carrie Secrist Gallery in Chicago, IL, on view until February 25, 2023.
