Educational partnerships, programs, workshops, and group tours at Manitoga are as multifaceted as the site itself. We have welcomed Columbia University School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation faculty and students, Earth Design Cooperative, SUNY Cobleskill Landscape Studies faculty and students, School of Architecture of Madrid faculty and students, Steven Holl Foundation’s Summer Architecture residency, children from the Manitou School, Pratt Institute faculty and students (Appetite for Design class), Weitzman School of Design UPENN for a multi-year project, Williamsburg HS of Architecture, New Directions in American Landscape, and many others. Additionally, we provide meaningful work experience for undergraduate students through internship opportunities. Institutions have included SUNY New Paltz, Carleton College, Swarthmore College, Middlebury College, and NYU.
